Hair

If you worry about hair growth conditions or just hair
is growing in places where you wished it did not, there
are a number of effective hair removal choices that are perfect
for you. There are for all intents and purposes two types of
hair removal procedures.
A) Permament hair
removal routines aim to do away with unwanted hair for
good. Sometimes these procedures can be semi-permanent and need
to be repeated once more.
B) Non permanent hair removal techniques work for
short periods of time and are dependent on the body's normal
rate of hair growth.
Many females deal with hair removal as a
component of their normal makeup routine. They shave their
underarms and legs, pluck their eyebrows, and have their
pubic hairs groomed or taken off to fit today's fashion
styles. Men on occasion also shave certain body areas for
cosmetic reasons, and virtually all men shave their faces
and necks unless they are intentionally growing it out as
a beard, goatee, or moustache. Then there are medical
reasons for removing hair and just plain old 'cuz I felt
like it' reasons also.
Electrolysis is a standard treatment that treats each hair
follicle on an individual basis by introducing a needle into
the hair follicle and applying an electric charge. This process
can go on for months based upon the size of the area undergoing
treatment. This procedure can be painful, and there can be side
effects that can include infection and scarring occasionally.
Expenses can be as high as $1,000 to $3,000 for the legs or
pubic area.
Laser removal of unwanted hair is an FDA approved process
that is best performed by a highly trained and certified
practitioner. When you are undergoing this procedure, a small
laser beam is utilized to eradicate the hair follicles. This is
a relatively painless procedure that is most effective on those
who have light colored skin and dark hair. Deeply tanned
individuals should not use this treatment. Expect an outlay of
about $1,000 for the removal of facial hair, and a range from
$2,000 to $3,000 for removal of unwanted hair from the legs and
pubic area.
Similar to the Laser treatment above, this FDA approved
Pulsed Laser procedure utilizes a pulsed light beam to destroy
the hair follicles. This process is extremely effective for
getting rid of hair from the sensitive armpit and the bikini
zone. There are no restrictions regarding skin tone, tanning,
or color of hair. Outlays for this procedure are from $500 to
$2,000 and up, dependent upon the treatment area.
Temporary hair removal methods include a multitude of hair
removal creams, shaving, plucking, waxing, and more unorthodox
treatments. What a unique contradiction. While millions of
balding and hair thinning people are spending billions of
dollars to nurture new hair, make it shiny and soft, or have it
cut that special way, the remainder of us are sending our
dollars seeking to get rid of it!
