If hair is growing in sites where you wished it did not,
there are a multitude of hair removal options for you to choose
from, including a low cost laser hair removal clinic. There are
fundamentally two categories of hair removal processes.
'Permament' processes seek to remove unwanted hair for good.
Sometimes these techniques can be semi-permanent and have to be
repeated over time. Non permanent hair
removal techniques provide results for short periods of
time and are dependent on the body's normal hair growth
cycle.
Most modern females deal with hair removal
as a component of their normal makeup routine. Ladies
shave their underarms and legs, tweezer their eyebrows,
and have their pubic hairs groomed or removed to take
advantage of today's fashion styles.
Some men also shave certain body areas for cosmetic effect,
and most males shave their facial hair unless they are
intentionally growing a beard, goatee, or moustache. And do not
forget that there are medical reasons for getting rid of hair
and sometimes hard to understand 'because I felt like it'
reasons as well.
Electrolysis has been a very popular method and treats each
hair follicle individually by introducing a needle into the
follicle of the hair and administering an electric charge.
This treatment can be lengthy based upon the location and
size of the area undergoing treatment. These treatments can be
somewhat painful, and there can be side effects that can
include the possibility of scaring and infection. Expenses can
be as high as $1,000 to $3,000 for the pubic area or legs.
Low cost laser hair
removal is an FDA approved treatment which should only be
performed by a highly trained and certified medical
professional. When you are undergoing this procedure, a small
laser beam is employed to destroy the hair follicles. This is a
relatively painless procedure that is most effective on persons
with light colored skin and a dark colored hair. People with a
deep tan should not consider this procedure. Cost of the
procedure runs around $1,000 for the removal of facial hair,
and from $2,000 to $3,000 for removal of unwanted hair from the
legs and pubic area.
Similar to LASER treatment, this FDA approved Pulsed Laser
treatment uses a pulsed light beam to get rid of the hair
follicles. This method is especially effective for getting rid
of hair from the underarms and the bikini zone. There are no
restrictions regarding skin fairness, tanning, or color of
hair. Expect to pay from $500 to $2,000 and up, based upon
which area of the body is treated.
Temporary removal of unwanted hair techniques include a wide
variety of hair removal creams, shaving, tweezing, waxing, and
more unorthodox processes. What a unique contradiction. While
it seems like half the adults are spending billions of dollars
to foster new hair, make it shiny and soft, or have it cut that
special way, the rest of us are spending our bucks seeking to
get rid of it!
