Is There
A Painless
Wax
Hair
Removal

Method?
Sometimes hair removal methods can be semi-permanent and
have to be repeated once more. Non permanent hair removal
procedures provide results for for a limited time and are
contingent on the body's normal hair growth cycle.
Most women approach hair removal as a
normal part of their cosmetic reimen. Women shave their
armpits and legs, shape their eyebrows, and have their
pubic hairs trimmed or taken off to take advantage of
today's fashions. Men on occasion also shave certain body
areas for cosmetic effect, and nearly all adult and
adolescent males shave their beards unless they are
intentionally growing a full beard, goatee, or moustache.
And do not forget that there are medical reasons for
eliminating hair and sometimes hard to understand 'i just
wanted to' reasons as well.
Electrolysis has
been a very popular method and treats each hair follicle
individually by inserting a needle into the follicle of the
hair and applying an electric charge. This procedure can
require multiple treatments based upon the condition and size
of the area where treatments are being applied. These
treatments can be somewhat painful, and there can be side
effects that can include infection and scarring occasionally.
Expenditures for this treatment can be as high as $1,000 to
$3,000 for the pubic area or legs.
Laser hair removal is
an FDA approved procedure that is best performed by a licensed
and trained practitioner. During this procedure, a concentrated
laser beam is employed to eradicate the hair follicles. The
treatment is a relatively painless procedure that has the best
results on patients who have light skin and a dark colored
hair. It is not recommended if you are deeply tanned. Cost of
the procedure runs around $1,000 for the removal of hair around
the face area, and from $2,000 to $3,000 for hair removal from
the pubic area or legs.
Similar to the Laser treatment above, this FDA approved
Pulsed Laser process utilizes a pulsed light beam to destroy
the hair follicles. This newer procedure is highly effective
for eliminating hair from the more sensitive underarms and the
bikini zone. There are no restrictions regarding skin color,
tanning, or color of hair. Expect to pay from $500 to $2,000
and up, dependent upon the treatment area.
Non permanent hair removal methods include a multitude of
hair removal creams, shaving, tweezing, waxing, and more irregular
routines. What a contrast of purpose. While millions of people
are investing billions of dollars to nurture new hair, make it
shiny and healthy, or have it cut just perfect, the rest of us
are sending our money attempting to get rid of it!
